ABOUT MALAYSIAN RUBBER COUNCIL
The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) was incorporated on 14 April 2000 under the Companies Act 1965 as a company limited by guarantee under the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK). MRC is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) and tasked with undertaking the market promotion of quality Malaysian rubber and rubber products in world markets.

MRC is participating in WORLDBEX 2025, Manila, Philippines from 13-16 March 2025 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center Manila. MRC's inaugural presence at the event aims to promote made in Malaysia quality engineered rubber products and green rubber innovations for the infrastructure and construction industry.
WORLDBEX is the largest construction and design exposition in the Philippines, serving as a cornerstone of the country’s design industry. The event showcases pioneering sustainable exhibitions and transformative innovations.
The Malaysian Ambassador, His Excellency Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino and the Malaysian Trade Commissioner, Ms Intan Zalani also paid a visit to the delegates earlier today to share valuable insights of the construction industry in the Philippines.

MRC kicked off its first Scholars Familiarisation Programme (SFP) of the year on 13 March, engaging nearly 50 scholars in an insightful online session. The programme covered workplace ethics, industry-relevant skills, and rubber product insights to help scholars transition from campus to career. 😁
Industry expert Mr. Jason Ong (K-Flex Malaysia) shared valuable knowledge on industrial rubber applications, while expert speaker Mr. Azlan Abdullah (Veraiso) discussed professional conduct, emphasizing the importance of ethics and integrity in the workplace. Ms. Soh Wei Li, a proud MRC Scholarship recipient now serving in the rubber industry, also inspired scholars by sharing her career journey. 💪🏻
