Rising Incidence of Communicable Diseases Drives UK Market for Disposable Gloves
Globally, the incidence of communicable diseases such as swine fly, bird flu, SARS, Zika, plague, and Ebola has dramatically increased in the past few years. In response to the same, the demand for disposable gloves has also increased to mitigate the risks of spreading an infection from patients to healthcare workers and others. The enactment of hygiene regulations by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has also given substantial impetus to the market for disposable gloves in the UK.
