Made-in-Malaysia Rubber Products Featured at Automechanika KL by MRC from 15-17 May 2025
MRC participated in Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2025 from 15–17 May 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), alongside RAA Technology Sdn Bhd.
Through its presence at the event, MRC aimed to showcase and promote high-quality Made in Malaysia rubber automotive components and green rubber innovations for the automotive industry.
MRC’s CEO and Chief Marketing and Development Officer attended the show’s opening ceremony, which was officiated by Tuan Faizal Mohd Yusof, Senior Director (Industry Development), MITI.
Visitors also explored our offerings at Hall 2, Booth 2A31—highlighting Malaysia’s commitment to quality and sustainability in the automotive industry.

MRC China Explored Strategic Opportunities in Hangzhou Market Visit from 12-15 May 2025
MRC China office conducted a market visit in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from 12-15 May to promote Malaysia made rubber products, to gain insight local rubber industry, to explore industries such as automotive, dental, mattresses and healthcare industries.
At the same time, MRC China office also had the opportunity to engage with the China largest tire manufacturer, to explore the possibility of JV/partnership with the Malaysia’s manufacturers.

Showcasing Innovation: MRC Concluded Successful Participation at CMEF 2025 from 8-11 April 2025
MRC participated in CMEF Spring 2025, one of the world's leading medical and healthcare technologies platform from 8 - 11 Apr 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) Shanghai, China. The MRC Malaysia Pavilion also led six Malaysian rubber medical devices manufacturers and exporters to participate in the show.
CMEF Spring served as a premier platform for global healthcare professionals to discover the latest innovations and solutions in the industry.
Many visitors even came to the MRC Malaysia Pavilion at 5.2H18 where they discover Made in Malaysia high-quality rubber medical devices.

Showcasing Innovation: MRC Concluded Successful Participation at CMEF 2025 from 8-11 April 2025

MRC Showcased High-Quality Rubber Automotive Components at Automechanika Riyadh from 28-30 April 2025
MRC participated in Automechanika Riyadh 2025 from 28–30 April 2025, held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Marking its inaugural presence at the event, MRC aimed to promote high-quality Made-in-Malaysia rubber automotive components to the regional automotive industry.
The MRC Malaysia Pavilion housed five Malaysian rubber automotive component manufacturers and exporters at the show: Associated First Rubber, Good Rubber Works, Kumpulan Jebco, Pro-Tec Marketing, and Schmaco.
To further enhance visibility, MRC strategically secured several advertising spaces, including a lightbox near the hall entrance and multiple directional floor stickers throughout the venue.
Visitors explored a range of quality Malaysian rubber products at Hall 3, Booth 3-D37 during the exhibition.

Celebrating 25 Years of Impact and Innovation: MRC's Silver Jubilee
The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) proudly marked a significant milestone—our 25th Anniversary, commemorating a quarter-century of leadership in championing the growth, innovation, and sustainability of Malaysia’s rubber industry.
Held in conjunction with our Silver Jubilee Celebration, themed “Driving Sustainable Industry,†the event was graced by YB Datuk Seri Johari Bin Abdul Ghani, Minister of Plantation and Commodities, along with YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Johari Abdul, Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, and YBhg. Datuk Wira Zailani Hj. Hashim, Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara.
To commemorate this special occasion, MRC proudly launched:
1. The official Silver Jubilee logo
2. A specially curated Coffee Table Book
3. A tribute video chronicling 25 years of MRC’s achievements, innovation, and contributions to the national and global rubber industry
In celebration of this momentous event, the occasion also doubled as our Hari Raya Open House, where we were honored to welcome the children of Akademi Tahfiz Al-Hidayah. They received duit raya and contributions from MRC—bringing a spirit of festivity, generosity, and joy to the celebration.

Strengthening Rubber Trade: MRC Concludes Market Visit to Lucknow
The MRC Mumbai office recently concluded a market visit to Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the largest and most populous state in India.
Meetings with industry members provided valuable insights into the challenges faced by the industry and highlighted the strong potential for promoting Malaysian rubber products in the state.
While Uttar Pradesh is still developing compared to more industrialized Indian states, it is making significant progress in expanding its healthcare infrastructure and moving towards greater industrialization. The coming years are expected to be promising for the state's economic growth.

MRC Concludes Educational Seminars on Medical Glove Awareness in Hyderabad
Malaysian Rubber Council successfully organized three educational seminars in Hyderabad at Yashoda Hospital, St. Theresa Multi-Speciality Hospital, and Princess Gurru Shehvar Children's General Hospital. These seminars aimed to raise awareness about the importance of using high-quality medical gloves in infection control and served as a platform to promote the Malaysian glove industry. The events recorded strong participation, with 85, 250, and 150 attendees, respectively.

H.E. Dato' Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, attended the inauguration ceremony and paid a visit to the MRC Malaysia booth.
The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) showcased a range of high-quality Made-in-Malaysia rubber medical devices as part of its efforts to strengthen its presence in the Indian healthcare market.

MRC China participated in the 3rd Hebei Xingtai International Auto Parts and Aftermarket Expo and Foreign Trade Factory Exhibition, an international event focused on auto parts, maintenance testing, diagnostic equipment, and service supplies. The exhibition was held from 28 - 30 March 2025 at the Xingtai Taihang International Convention and Exhibition Center.
This event served as a comprehensive platform for the auto parts industry chain in North China, which is experiencing rapid industrial growth. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the region's leading one-stop cooperation platforms.
MRC China showcased high-quality Malaysia-made rubber automotive components at Hall A, Booth No. 59-60, further promoting Malaysia's capabilities in the global automotive aftermarket.

From 18–20 March 2025, MRC USA successfully concluded a productive market visit to Houston, Texas, a key U.S. manufacturing hub. The visit provided valuable opportunities to engage with industry players involved in the production and distribution of latex mattresses, industrial rubber parts, and hoses across various sectors—while promoting high-quality Malaysian-made rubber products.
There was strong interest in sourcing from Malaysian suppliers, especially amid shifting global supply chain dynamics. U.S. companies expressed keen interest in products such as sliced latex foam for mattresses, high-pressure hoses, and customized rubber gaskets. MRC remains committed to cultivating strategic partnerships that enhance trade and create mutual growth opportunities for both Malaysian and U.S. industries.

MRC's inaugural presence at the event aims to promote made in Malaysia quality engineered rubber products and green rubber innovations for the infrastructure and construction industry.
WORLDBEX is the largest construction and design exposition in the Philippines, serving as a cornerstone of the country’s design industry. The event showcases pioneering sustainable exhibitions and transformative innovations.
The Malaysian Ambassador, His Excellency Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino and the Malaysian Trade Commissioner, Ms Intan Zalani also paid a visit to the delegates earlier today to share valuable insights of the construction industry in the Philippines.

On 24-25 February 2025, we hosted a 2-Day Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Assessment Technical Training Programme, in collaboration with MGTC, equipping participants with hands-on expertise in GHG assessment, boundary identification, and emission calculations across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 categories.
